Tour Europe in a sports car

BMW Z4 on the road in Europe

It's a mindset; about looking down, rather than up, about seeing the world from the perspective of a hawk, about climbing, up and over, the most amazing mountains.

It's passion - for curves, undulations, and pavement heading to indescribable views.

It's curiosity to see what is around the next corner, and over that mountain.

It’s power, speed and control, movement through a new world, a new reality.

It’s freedom and discovery.

It's what we help you do.

Magical Alpine Mountain Motoring
Driving in Europe is a challenging, rewarding adventure

If you drive for pleasure, few places in the world offer the sport driving opportunities found in Europe. The Alpine mountains are crisscrossed with delightful roads allowing motorists to drive through and over the world's most majestic mountain scenery. Motorcyclists have always looked to the Alpine countries as the ultimate ride. Now drivers may experience the same adventure, reveling in daily challenges of amazing mountain roads, enjoying the sense of accomplishment when a pass summit comes into view, seeing the same breathtaking scenery and enjoying delightful accommodation and a great meal at the end of each day.

Small and sporty are key words to consider when choosing a vehicle for European driving. Some of the world's finest sports cars are manufactured in Germany, and it doesn't take much driving over there to understand the BMW and Mercedes-Benz designer's motivation and mindset to build small, quick, fun cars.

Alpine scenery is not only stunning, it is everywhere - 360 panoramas of beauty may be found - seemingly - around every corner. What better way to enjoy every one of those views than from the seat of a convertible - or a cabriolet as they are known in Europe.

Cabriolet
  1. a light, two-wheeled, one-horse carriage with a folding top, capable of seating two persons.

  2. an automobile resembling a coupe but with a folding top.

From the driver's (or passenger's) seat, a powerful cabriolet is a fantastic way to move. And an Alpine Adventure is a great reason to move. To see the hidden Europe, high up on the pass roads, away from the majority of the traffic, will leave one with indelible memories. These grand motoring adventures change the idea from "we drove there" to "we drove there." It really is the journey that counts. Beach's adventures are journeys that don't focus on popular tourist attractions as bus tours do. Rather, each day's drive is the point. Being able to visit popular attractions is the bonus!

The freedom of independent travel leaves the daily schedule to you. When, where, how far are all choices you make. Beach's tour guides, the tour book, and the preprogrammed GPS routes help you hone in on what interests you.

The fact that you have a pre-arranged room waiting at the end of the day allows you to stretch the day as long as you please. There is no need to come down off the mountain early to begin searching for your bed each evening.

This is the fantastic way to traverse the Alps! If you enjoy driving, love independence while traveling in foreign lands, and are a capable navigator you will find that the tours designed by the Beachs offer a personal European experience like none other.

BMW Z4 on the road in Europe

Joining you in this trip will be a variety of others, mostly motorcyclists - people just like you: folk who enjoy the trip rather than the destination (but do it on two wheels.) There is real camaraderie in these groups, as everyone shares tales of the day and plans for the next. The two or four wheel question matters little to enthusiasts.

Beach's day-to-day itineraries are designed for the thrill of the roads and maximum exposure to indescribable mountain scenery. Most of the routing suggestions are possible, and enjoyable, in a car.

However, it is not always feasible to maintain the pace of a motorcycle while driving a car. As such, drivers need to consider that they will be taking a tour "in parallel" with friends, rather than "together" with friends. On many days the pace will be different enough that meeting for lunch or arriving at a certain destination as the same time as the motorcycles may not be possible without a change in itinerary or pace for either the rider or driver.

The cost to join one of Beach's trips in an automobile is the Sports Car Driver price plus the automobile rental fees, which vary according to the class of car driven. The automobiles are picked up and returned to Munich, Germany. Some tours require different arrangements to facilitate pickup and return.
